Our recent stay! The room clean and tidy on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, there was a provision of extra blankets if needed.The location suited us as a half way point to places we wanted to see. We were very happy with our stay at Blackheath Motor Inn. Thanks again!

Pleasant Overnight Stay Room was spacious, warm, comfortable and clean and we liked the Swiss chalet design. Location close to town centre and cafes is very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Great stopover spot It’s a great stop over for the night. It was extremely clean and the location was perfect to walk into Blackheath for some dinner. Hotel owners were lovely and welcoming. The bedroom was nice and warm with a heater and heated blanket and the amenities were great.

Great value Location is great, easy stroll to Blackheath pubs, cafes and shops. Very comfortable , warm and clean. Nice staff, easy checking and out . I wore ear plugs so couldn't hear the trains or trucks , so had a lovely sleep. The electric blankets are great to have. For the price and convenience, it's good value. We will definitely stay there again.

Warm & cozy Very handy location, right next to highway. Local eateries only a short walk to the corner. Large room, a/c heater lovely & warm in July, hot shower & electric blanket. Access to private outdoor area for morning coffee with the local bird life .

Excellent staff and convenient The room was clean. Even cleaner than the previous owners. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We had some ice on our windscreens which the staff took off for us. Any request we had was immediately resolved. The rooms have a charming chalet ambience. It also has a microwave which is useful if you don't want to eat out all the time. The rooms are reasonably large, and the bed is comfortable. The motel is 5 min walk to the town and all amenities.

Comfortable and convenient motel Whilst a standard motel room, has a bit of character with the wooden finishes. Rooms closer to highway might be a bit noisy but ours not to bad. Convenient walk to pubs abd shops - max 5 minutes. Some crockery provisions but had to ask for milk. Fine for our one night stay

Trucks and Freight Trains- No sleep Lovely people so I hate to write this but it is right on the Highway so very loud with trucks all night and freight trains I was unable to sleep. Clean and tidy. I had forgotten my phone charger and they loaned me one. The young girl was new and went over and above but the noise all night was terrible.

Good overnight accommodation Clean comfortable and affordable accommodation. Quick check in and plenty of parking. Walking distance to Blackheath shops and restaurants. Tip. there is some noise from the highway so a unit at the back would be the safer bet.

Friendly staff Friendly staff and clean rooms. Nothing fancy. Just clean and functional accommodation which is close to town and nearby bushwalks. The car park entrance ramp from the road is a little steep so watch your trailer hitch especially if you're carrying a bike rack which extends from the back of the car. Not a big deal.

The motel met my needs according to my budget. ☺ Equipment to prepare meals for the self ☹ Could not get the TV nor phone to work. The non-breakfast service - a continental breakfast at least.

Follow the M4 from Sydney onto the Great Western Highway to Blackheath.

Blackheath Motor Inn is 400 metres past the traffic lights, in the centre of town, on the right. There is off-street parking free of charge.

Blackheath and the Wild Blue Yonder

Just a few minutes drive in any direction from the Motor Inn can be found great expanses of the Blue Mountains. Stand on top of escarpments and gaze for kilometres into the wild wilderness of the Blue Mountains National Park. Govett’s Leap lookout, Pulpit Rock and the Shipley Plateau all provide wonderful vistas. Breathtaking walks abound with the Grand Canyon and Porters Pass the most popular.

Megalong Valley, just a 10 minute drive, takes you through lush rain forest to many horse riding opportunities or bush walking on the Six Foot Track. You may be lucky enough to sight kangaroos or other native animals

Blackheath township itself provides a variety of shops for the antique and curio buyer. Delicatessen and food stores provide all your exotic picnic needs. Cafes cater for morning/afternoon teas and lunches. There is also a wide range of restaurants from gourmet to take-away to suit your budget and fine dining requirements.

Blackheath Motor Inn is the ideal place to set out from for a day’s drive. Choose from the world famous Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters or Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens. You can also visit the other Mountain townships, each with their own special features.
